Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Kroll's Corn Maze Game mobile application. It does not apply to other websites, applications, or services that may be opened from the app.

Overview

Kroll's Corn Maze Game does not require an account. The app does not transmit names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, advertising identifiers, precise location, photos, video, gameplay progress, submitted answers, or prize results to Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm or to an app server.

The app does not contain advertising, behavioral tracking, or third party analytics.

Camera

The app requests camera permission only so it can scan QR codes on the numbered pumpkin signs. The camera image is used to recognize the QR code. The app does not take, save, or transmit photos or video, and it does not record audio.

You may deny or later turn off camera permission through your phone settings. The QR scanning feature will not work without camera permission.

Information Stored on Your Phone

The app stores the selected language, the current game date, pumpkin progress, submitted answers, completion status, prize or finisher result, and the time the result was issued. This information is stored only on the phone so the game can work without internet service, keep submitted answers final, and preserve the same result for the remainder of the day.

The game resets for a new play on the next calendar day. Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm cannot access, recover, or remotely delete this local game information.

Location and the Maze Map

Kroll's Corn Maze Game does not request or collect the phone's location. The Maze Map button opens an optional external website operated by Local Map Apps in your web browser.

When that website is opened, the website and browser may receive information normally associated with visiting a website, such as an internet address, browser or device details, and cookies. The website may also ask for permission to use your location. Location access is controlled through your browser and phone settings.

The app does not receive the information processed by the external Maze Map. The privacy practices of Local Map Apps and your browser apply while you use that website. You can use the maze game without opening the Maze Map.

Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

The app does not display advertisements and does not include a separate analytics, advertising, or tracking service. Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm does not use the app to track users across other applications or websites.

Sharing and Sale of Information

Because the app does not transmit personal information to Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm or to an app server, Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm does not sell, rent, or share personal information collected through the app.

Platform and Device Services

Apple, Google, your phone manufacturer, your mobile carrier, your browser, and the external Maze Map provider may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm does not control those independent services.

Children's Privacy

The app is designed for families and does not require users to provide personal information. Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Data Retention and Deletion

There is no player account and no personal information stored on a Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm app server. Local game information is reset when a new calendar day begins and may also be replaced as a new game is played. Deleting the app generally removes its locally stored information from the phone. Phone backup and restore features are controlled by Apple, Google, or the device owner.

Your Choices

You can control camera permission through your phone settings. You can control any location permission requested by the external Maze Map through your browser or phone settings. You can stop using the app or delete it at any time. There is no account to close and no server based player record to request for deletion.

Security

Game information remains on the phone and is subject to the security settings of that device. No method of storage is completely secure, so users should protect their phones with the security features available on their devices.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if the app changes or if legal or store requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
